Hi, I’m Lou Redd, born in Baltimore City, Md. in 1934.
I accepted Christ at an Royal Ambassadors (RA) camp August 30th 1945 and dedicated my life to serve Him in July 1957.
Education:
I obtained my education in the Baltimore City school system, University of Maryland College Park-Education Major, Master’s Decree in Liberal Arts from John Hopkins University and Southern Seminary-Masters in Theology.
Vocation:
I worked in the Baltimore County school system for 31 years teaching Junior and Senior high school. I retired as an assistant principal and then began teaching in the Howard County school system.
I served as a bi vocational pastor from 1970-2009 serving four churches in the Baltimore Baptist Association. Was a trustee with the Brotherhood Commission from 1974-1982. Became a Church Planting Pastor to a church plant in Greenbelt Md. from 2006-2009.
Personal:
I am the father of two daughters, three grandchildren and four great grand children.
Hobbies:
As a hobbie I have performed gospel concerts and have recorded four CD’s. I have shared the stage with groups such as Dallas Holm, Mercy Me, and Casting Crowns.
What Now:
After years of teaching school, working with church youth, RA’s and Baptist Men, the Lord has opened the door and has called me to Middle and Older Adult ministry.
